Officer Who Killed Philando Castile Acquitted

Jeronimo Yanez was acquitted on all counts of murder regarding the shooting death of Philando Castile. On July 6, 2016, Yanez shot Castile during a traffic stop while the driver/girlfriend was recording on Facebook Live.

Yanez was Acquitted of 2nd degree manslaughter and two counts of intentionally discharging a weapon.

The family was highly distraught after the verdict and we’re escorted out the courtroom.  Valerie Castile spoke out afterwards in regards to the ruling.

My Opinion:

This is some bullshit.  There was a video of a black man complying to a white officer, and yes white passing can be white.  Then the officer shoots him in cold blood.  I want to know what was the defense.

As well, I hope this helps debunks the whole body cam delusion many liberal politicians used as an attempt to create a resolution.  With this, more practical and useful theories can be created and utilized.  This can help reduce the amount of deaths of black men at the hand of officers.

Beyond that, I think Yanez should be doing desk duty or background reports for the rest of his time on the force. What I really would like is his termination as an officer.  Someone that afraid should not hold that kind of position.  But that is what I want and more than likely, he will be in another department doing desk duties in a comfy chair.

All in all, a woman has lost her son, another woman lost her boyfriend, and a child lost their father.  The only thing to show from this is proof that America does not give a damn about Black men.
