I did a video back at the end of January about the Flint, Michigan Water Crisis.
BUT THIS IS STILL GOING ON AND IT IS MARCH 11, 2016
I could not believe that I am still reading articles about families using 100 plus bottles of water everyday to live a normal life. This is fucking ridiculous. Why has no one been brought to justice?
The receipts are there. You create a faux government, which was unprecedented for that state (to my understanding.) Then you decided to let this faux government make a decision to transfer the water system from Detroit to Flint River. However, Detroit was basically begging Flint, Michigan to not do this. Detroit even knew the conditions of the water in Flint River and offered them a discount.
Darnell Earley and Governor Rick Snyder knew the conditions of the water and were warned that the water in Flint River would take a while to treat before it was ready for use by the general population. Even with that knowledge, they still decided to transfer the water system.
Now they have a bigger issue on there hands that will takes YEARS to resolve.
I get that.
[side note: I misquoted that lead in the water is not dangerous to human beings in regards to washing with it. IT CAN LEAD TO RASHES, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, CHEMICAL REACTIONS ETC ETC ETC]
But why is it a month later, and people are still having to drive daily to the firehouse or whatever to get clean water? Why is there no other resolution found?
I am offended at this moment. But I really want the people of Flint, Michigan to move and SUE. I need a suit like no other against the governing system of Flint, Michigan. Once they move, they need maintain the houses while the repairs to the water system is done. Once the issue is resolved, they move back with the money and beautify the neighborhoods without gentrification.
You know I agree with the school of thought/conspiracy theories that this was a purposeful act to remove the predominantly black population from the area by the governing system. Once the current population is removed, the governing system can resolve the issue with the water system. Then the governing system can beautify the neighborhoods. Then they can increase the cost of houses and sale to predominantly white or wealthy blacks. That is what I feel is going on.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
